Restarts are left out: a new map less than six hours after the last counts as the same wipe. Times are UTC: UK time is the same in winter and an hour ahead in summer; US East is five hours behind in winter and four in summer.

Questions
When is the next Rust force wipe?
Force wipe lands on the first Thursday of every month at 19:00 UK time, when Facepunch ships the update. The countdown at the top of this page tracks the next one live. Every public server restarts with it, so scores dip and climb again within the hour.
What is the difference between a map wipe and a blueprint wipe?
A map wipe clears the world: bases, loot and everything on it. A blueprint wipe also clears what you have learned to craft. Most servers map-wipe on their own schedule and hold blueprint wipes for the force wipe, or never do them; the server's own settings say which.
Which day and time do most Rust servers wipe?
Wipe days vary by server, but evening hours in the server's home region are the common choice, so players are online for the fresh start. The heatmap above counts wipes by day and hour across 37,544 recorded wipes. The busiest day right now is Thursday; times are shown in UTC.
